First time using Dependent Care FSA. For those who do and pay their sitter in cash, is that considered an eligible expense?

See if this helps - https://www.fsafeds.gov/file#receipts . I don’t use this, but I was kind of curious and went looking around. Looks like you paying in cash would probably be fine, need proper documentation for it though. Would also consider looking into what/if the provider has to meet any criteria.

This makes sense. I would have to look into my employer to see what our claim form looks like. And go from there.

If nothing else works out, daycare registration/hold fees do qualify as eligible expenses. Better than losing it entirely.

For sure, thanks

You’ll have to produce a receipt, and even then, im not sure it would count.

Figured, thanks

Index fund or ETF? I cant determine which is more advantageous, just want to sit and hold similar to retirement accounts (already maxed out). Looking at VFINX vs. VOO. Advice is appreciated.

Hi fishes may you please confirm the below:

In the offer letter the "Provident Fund" And "gratuity" Is mentioned. In the salary calculation in hand, we will not consider these amounts right? As these components are received when someone retires..right? .. Please confirm.

Thanks in advance

Instead of leaving, I’d love to go back to my “consulting roots” and join the ProServ team. I’m taking my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam next weekend. Hoping this freeze is lifted soon.
