First year managers or people who have been, how is/was your experience going from transitioning from a senior role? Is it more enjoyable, less stressful, do/did you find yourself to be happier?

Is it safe leaving your full time role for a temp-to-perm role at a place offering much more? Does temp-to-perm mean you will get hired after the temp period is over, or is there a chance you will not get a perm/full time offer? Any insights appreciated!

Well, I was the one who broke it off. I couldn’t get him to love me the way I needed or even respect me enough. It’s been 6 weeks of not seeing each other. We messaged this week. He doesn’t get it…. Does anyone have any insight into partners retiring early? I am at a point where I need to consider leaving if I am not aiming for partner. I don’t see myself working past my 40s.
