Is it safe leaving your full time role for a temp-to-perm role at a place offering much more? Does temp-to-perm mean you will get hired after the temp period is over, or is there a chance you will not get a perm/full time offer? Any insights appreciated!

I have a promising interview at a relatively large law firm in my area (+100 attorneys) next week. The position is for a transactional role in their real estate practice group, and they are seeking someone with at least 2 YOE. I have a bit over 7 YOE with a strong real estate/commercial lit. background. Over the past two years in my current position, I've been doing a lot more transactional work. The split is around 50% transactional and 50% lit.

A few months ago I took a job selling internet service. Primarily, I work in the field, where I can make all my sales, but I have been kinda dipping a toe into reaching out to property managers via email. So, i have been trying to write a BASHO email template and I am hitting a wall. It’s hard to personalize it as a lot of the people I reach out to have no social media or are super hard to find. Tips/Nuggets for switching departments within an agency.

I’m working for an agency where Art Directors are essentially managers of designers. Art Directors are promoted from Senior Designer, we have no Junior Art Directors.

This hasn’t been my experience, I’m used to Art Directors and Designers having separate career paths. However, I’m trying to keep an open mind. Is this org structure familiar to to anyone else? If so, has it been effective? Thanks in advance!

Right so here’s a bit of a dilemma I work to a much higher standard at home and it’s this high standard that means I’m in line for a promotion. I’ve grown so much and I feel really strong in my role I’m also busier than ever.
