After uploading documents in Bosch First Services one week ago, there was no update from them, when I replied to them via mail - They said we will get back to you.Is this sign of getting compensation breakup or they looking for other candidates.I have offer from CGI and only 3 days is remaining to accept. What should I do in this case?As CGI has said if you don't join after accepting offer we will blacklist you.
How much was your bonus this year?

Um for $20k I'd probably jump ship. Just verify that your benefits (insurance) and PTO decrease don't cancel out the pay bump.
Why not? Especially if you hate auditing
If you like tax, go to a big firm and specialize in tac
What will you be doing in the new job? Tax??
^ for what kind of work ? And location?
It would be a financial analyst position
Depends on your goals. One year is nothing, not even the standard two. May look like you could not hack even the minimum. Plus, in industry, say goodbye to annual raises and bonuses. Even cost of living increases be damned. That said, I have experience with few industry jobs so it's a blanket statement
Why not switch over to tax within your firm instead of doing something you're not sure you like? (I'm assuming you don't know if you like financial analysis. )
I am in a pooled program where we get exposure to both tax and audit. I did my tax rotation now am stuck in audit until July of 2017. I believe at that point I can switch to full tax.
I'm jelly. Get out while you can. That increase is huge
Being at a snaller firm, you could always be put back on audits, best to get a job at a regional or big 4 and stuck in tax or whatever you enjoy
@RSM1 I'm at a firm that's around 20th nationally. I'm pretty sure that after we have gone through both audit and tax we get to choose where we'd like to work and they let us do it if there is a need in that particular area. As of now tax needs people pretty badly. My big thing is that I like my firm, but I want to move to a larger city. I could transfer within the firm but I'm not sure if after one year that's acceptable. The job offer I got was in the same city I'm currently in so that kinda makes me feel like it's not worth it if I want to move out of here anyway.
You end up taking the job? 20k increase would be very hard to pass up imo
