Question on after-tax contributions. I’ve recently upped my contributions to after tax through payroll (already maxing our 401k+contributing to traditional Ira to be converted to a Roth shortly contd

After house and car purchase, my monthly cashflow is now only +$500 where it used to be $1,500. I have around $30,000 in savings, but can only save $500 a month (besides the 10% contribution into 401K). Is this a bad sign of my financial health? Im 30 and just purchased my first home and put down around $100,000 (20% downpayment). Salary + bonus is around $110k. Thank you!!

SO and I are debating contributing to 401k this year since the rate of return is around -11% on our portfolios this year. I believe it would be better off saving the cash in my account.

I'm thinking of contributing again when/if the market picks up next year. Thoughts?

Just heard FY23 partners at PwC are getting only 40 shares vs.60 last year. Looks like new partners are being shown the middle finger by Tim Ryan in favor of increasing stock price and getting more catalyst hires. Sucks!!

For the partners/mds/directors etc how are you protecting your money with the new administration? Wells - curious. Where are you and are you buyer/seller? I'm guessing buyer and all the stats I read are completely in our favor, yet I feel like books of business should be going for sale every day and I struggle to find any good sellers?

Think about this for a minute... why would you sell a book? Because you didn't want it anymore or it was beyond its useful life, kinda like an old car... it's old, rusty and needs more maintainence than it provides useful transportation, it's in the repair shop more often... everytime it goes in you find something else wrong with it? Plus, the prices the buyers are willing to pay are outrageous, by the time you get it paid off it's in the junk yard. No easy solution to building a sustainable business except hard, persistent work.
