I'm currently in a support project and completed AWS certification parallel to my current role, took the responsibility of Cloud provision and other AWS related stuff. I got an offer from Accenture in Cloud migration with 100% hike. I proposed to move myself into Cloud projects and match my CTC for retention but now HR says he can match my CTC upto 80% and ask me to work in the same support project.

Is it a good time to switch considering recession?

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? I have a coworker who keeps spouting comparative odds and situations in regards to the safety of the vaccine. Such as: you're twice as likely to get hit by lightening than have blod clots from JJ.
