My firm gave me 2 days to review all the presales documentation of the new project, give knowledge transfer to a newbie of the current project, take clients call to inform them of my departure and get all documentation in order. 2 days!!! It's not nearly enough time.

Got an offer from Capgemini recently. But in the offer letter it is mentioned that I will be in probation period for the first 6 months and then based on my performance I will be confirmed or the probation period might extend up to 30 days. Is it something to worry about or is it common while switching? Please help. This is the first time I am switching company.

I worked in QA automation for 2 years in previous company and then 2.5 years in python automation scripting sort of work in current company..yoe is 5.1 and I'm getting all automation testing interviews only. first round is mostly coding which I'm confident about and easily clear it, but never got through second round which is deep into testing techniques.. idk what to do, 40 days np left and the offer in hand isn't satisfactory at all. Any advice?

From what I've analyzed, The YoY hike range at the current firm(15-20%) would be better than the other firm(8-16%).

I need help in making a decision.

I have 2 offers. One is from The Boeing Company and the other one from Deloitte. I got 100% hike from Boeing and the role is better, so I accepted it.

I told Deloitte the truth that I have accepted another offer, but they are asking me to reconsider. Deloitte told me they will match the offer. I also felt that they are in position to offer something significantly higher.

I would appreciate suggestions on how to tackle this situation.

Has anyone made profit in long run (2+ yrs horizon) by doing FnO?

I am thinking to altogether quit FnO and would invest only in Equity now onwards. I trade sometimes (now almost 4 yrs) but feel that in long run it's a zero sum game if not profit.

I know that seeing technicals and investing accordingly would get me profits but i think that doesnt apply in a longer horizon where emotions and fear outshadow these in real life

I am suffering my scalp psoriasis. Checked with many doctors. They say there is no cure for this. You have to use coal tar shampoo to get rid of this dandruff. But if I use that shampoo I will go bald in some years as it has harsh chemicals. If I don't, this dandruff too much to handle and sometimes breaks your confidence.
Is someone else also faced this situation. How your overcome it. Please suggest I might go in depression.
