I am working as a vendor for EY for.past 1 year . Good wlb in Project and this is my priority. No issue of taking leaves. I had suffered a lot in terms wlb and taking leaves in my previous company. Having 10 yoe in .Net. My question is Can EY take me as permanent employee? Instead of going outside , searching job, Can I continue here if they increase my salary? I have been low balled by my current company, spent around 17 months, current salary is 19 lpa, Jan onwards it will be 21 lpa. Accenture

Not really... I had worked 12 hours a day without weekend with 6 lpa also. These are just trending posts. I have friends in Walmart earning 40 lpa and some days they don't open laptop also
There are people carrying these health issues even after being paid less. Lifestyle from early stage is a key deciding factor.
Then choose a company with 45 lakhs that follows WLB
Yes jokes apart when people are rushing to fill you in at any cost usually tends to be a stressful job in its way so get optimum pay with peace of mind

I don't agree. I have seen people with 50lpa with good wlb.
All you need to do is to have good bonding with upper management.

The thing is how you taking your work and how much you know about the technology to resolve the issues and requirements. Even I worked 14 hours a day wakeup and do work even food front of laptop. But my package is 6LPA at that time. So package doesn't matter to get diseases.
There are people above this package carrying no disease and are extremely healthy. How can salary package and health be related? There may be someone getting very less money with all these diseases.
This is a misleading post which is directly or indirectly telling you that higher package is the cause.
It is you who decide what you want, higher package and extremely healthy lifestyle both together is definitely possible. Just think on those lines….

WLB is just a bloody myth...
Other challenge is with higher package, you consistently need to keep proving you are better than others, taki company kalti na maare.
40s is the new 50s.
It depends on organization, if any company hire 1 person instead of 2-3 then think how wlb will be there.
