The old fort is shockingly fun
I live in St. Augustine Beach and would highly recommend a trip to the alligator farm, climb the lighthouse, take the trolley downtown, Washington oaks gardens, and check out Anastasia State Park beaches for shelling. Silver Springs state park is starting to get some manatees for the winter season, and Marineland would be neat for the kids. Saturday farmers market at the amphitheater and Wednesday farmers market at the pier. Have an awesome trip!
Why the whole week there if you're going to venture out to other cities too? Spend 1 day at the beach and another day checking out the Spanish forts.
Definitely but not really doable in the same day. Kennedy Space Center is further east than the attractions in Orlando. So that will be one day of driving and at the space center.
Legoland is not actually in Orlando it’s a bit further west in a little town called Winter Haven. Not much else to do there if you plan to go you will drive through Orlando, past Kissimmee where Disney is and drive about 30 more minutes to get there.
You definitely don’t want to drive to Legoland and back to St Augustine in one day. I live on the east side of Orlando and it’s still an hour and half drive to Legoland. NOT including trying to get through Disney traffic and there’s NO way to avoid it.
Rising Star
Kennedy is good. Blue Springs will likely have manatees there in the cooler months - Oct is borderline “cool”. The old fort in St Augustine will be fun to run around and maybe have a picnic, but won’t interest them for long. I believe there are some pirate-themed activities and museums in St Augustine too
Yes we are set for things in St Augustine. Thanks
