For all my SCIF’d peeps, what will realistically happen when our firms go to a mandatory WFH policy in the next few weeks? (Cont’d)

There is essentially no chance I’d be able to be on boarded onto a client with remote work and I’m sure as shit not using PTO. Just admin like crazy? Also curious what this would do to performance reviews as I’d be far less profitable than some peers who were able to stay billing.

During blizzards it is pretty easy to find some internal BS to work on without using PTO at home. That is a day, maybe two tops though.

Shutdown, usually it is ride the pine for a short time and if it starts to go longer they will look to other offices to see if there are any immediate needs on a chargeable project. This also won’t happen because of travel being restricted.

For SCIF peeps who are C-SC, we won’t be able to bill any sort of client hours from home. Our work solely occurs in a SCIF. So more than likely we’ll be given a charge code or have to find some courses or something to take.

I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.

Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.

JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Hello,
I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.
