For experienced folks, recently gave a D USI interview for SCNO-COUPA practice. Cleared 2 technical rounds and in Senior manager round, I was rejected :( Feeling extremely demotivated because the rounds had gone quite good. How can I improve so that I am not rejected the next time? Especially senior manager round?

I gave google silicon interview all 4 rounds 3+ months back, from then they are saying they want to hire me but headcount approval is not yet received.
Last week they said, lets go for one more round and finalize immediately. That interview also went very good.
Post that they didn't call back itself, they have stopped responding also.

Has anybody faced this issue? This I feel completely unprofessional and not really expected from Google.

New buildings are safe and pretty spacious (relatively speaking). Downside is not really much to do around this area and food delivery is not great. My joining is on 11th July. I believe I have to collect the laptop from Camac street on joining date. But after laptop collection, should I WFH as the Technopolis office is not ready? Also, how much time does it take on first day for all the formalities? After laptop collection and formalities, I am planning to return to my hometown which is 250 km away.

Recently USI Kolkata sent an email and asked about employees willingness to come in office if they start the office in the new location near sector 5 untill technopolis building is ready. They asked how many days I want to come in office.....
