Anyone who thinks they’ll get a GS 14 or 15 with 2 years of work experience is seriously mistaken.
But let’s say it happens. The feds you manage will eat you alive.
Really appreciate these perspectives. Thanks for the input.

Anywhere from GS-13 to GS-15. It can and will vary wildly from one position to the next. Some require highly technical experience, others just need generic PMO experience, and so on.
Assuming you're in the DC area, 13s are a dime a dozen here. You'll have a very slight leg up on the hundreds of other people applying for positions by virtue of being a vet, but there are also dozens of vets applying for the same positions, so it's kind of a wash.
I spent a couple years as a fed (including as a HM), happy to answer any questions you might have.
OP, there’s a really active Vets to Feds Facebook Group. It may be a good resource.

Depends on agency and position
Your best bet is to get love from the client and then have them make a pd for you and close it in 24 hours. Additionally, you’ll have to get them to fight their HR for max step. MBA = masters in library science for all they care :)
