Thursday I had received email from JP Morgan HR regarding my availability for the interview. I had responded back to the mail stating I am available for interview on Monday from 10 am till end of the week any time. After that I haven't heard back from the HR on further process. I am worried as they might not interview me. Need thoughts of group people for the scenario.

I'm trying to suss out if a new member of our dept hates me or my team (she manages a different team).

My initial take is she's just hard to read and probably a tightly controlled introvert. My direct report felt she's 'cold as ice,' 'bristling' at our suggestions, and forming a clique that wants to do their own thing with no input from our team. He's triggered very easily, and there was no explicit evidence, just a 'vibe' so I wrote it off. (See 1st comment)

Payroll people this question is for you! I recently got approval for a pay adjustment and was told the new rate would take effect 7/17 pay period. I still have to sign off on my time card from last pay period with old rate and boss has to submit tomorrow. My employee portal still shows old rate even though new rate was supposed to take effect today 7/17. Should I be concerned or will new rate populate after I get paid on Wednesday?

Hi - had 2 great interviews with PWC. Then had a partner interview and the partner was a bit rude and disrespectful throughout the course of the interview.. wondering if this is common practice to assess how you deal with pressure? Or if it’s just someone not being friendly.. honestly not too sure, but I don’t want to walk into a bad situation. The partner did mention a few projects they would want me working on .. so it sounded like an offer was coming.

Probably not the right bowl. I have $240k in my savings account, recently became a father of 3 and my wife left her job so now one income. I make $215k base. Monthly expenses prob around $6.5k including my mortgage. Home equity somewhere around $200k. I've never been good at investing (always losing money in the market). Want to move to a bigger home but don't want to lose my cash cushion. How can I conservatively grow my net worth? Vague question but any help appreciated. BTW I'm 33.
