Hi, Is it good to join Salesforce for Technical Consultant role (YOE - 3.2 years) ?
I checked with few of my connections, they saying I will be mostly allocated to Salesforce industries (Vlocity) project. Please suggest about the team structure and work life balance for this role.
and also in future, is it possible to apply for IJP in Salesforce ?
Please provide your thoughts on this.
Thanks

Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Yes, definitely common to get in on a second application. Listen to the feedback they gave you as to why you didn’t get a final round. Believe it or not, usually that feedback is exactly why you didn’t get a second round (at least based on my exp in the US). Also would encourage you to reach out to anyone you talked to in the recruiting process to see their thoughts on how to better prep for your next application
Yeah, unless you’re applying for a different position, I don’t think they’d usually review the same applicant twice within the same year (with the assumption that not much is going to change about that applicant in less than a year)
IME, yes - though many won’t admit it. It’s just like Google - keep trying and you’ll get there. Refine your strategy, pickup a new skill or degree. It’ll come if you keep trying.
Yes, I didnt get in the first time, then got it the following year
