Hey All!
I have a phone interview for a data scientist role at snowflake comming up. Any advice on how to prep?
The email indicates that the call will cover my experience, motivations, and understanding of Snowflake.
Curious if other have gone through the process and have insights to share. Or if anyone at snowflake can shed light on how I can be effective.

Thinking about leaving my position at Red Ventures as a Software Engineer, for an internship at AWS with potential to be hired full time. Right now I’m making 75-90k a year at RV but from what I hear at Amazon Web Services I could be making double. But I worry about the burn out at FAANG companies. Opinions? I feel my salary is pretty low for what I do.

No. A great engineer isn’t great if they can’t communicate properly. I’ve worked with engineers that were so technically knowledgeable but couldn’t communicate basic requirements and working with them was a nightmare. It slows down the people they’re “leading”.
Real shot in the dark here, sounds like you have amazing coding skills but potentially are being hindered by lack of soft skills for a new role/promotion. How close am I?
Mental gymnastics. But also who would bring up this point if it didn’t impact them?
Absolutely not. Technical skills get you into the door as a junior developer. You might be able to get to a first promotion based on purely technical merits. Any senior role will require significant leadership, mentoring and communication skills. You simply cannot be effective without them.
