I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I am extremely over qualified for the position but it could possibly be a stepping stone and gives me the time to acquire SHRM certifications and possibly start taking classes to get my MBA. Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?

Does anyone ever feel like working in this industry is just overall toxic? Unreasonable deadline times, every single client just being cheap (always quantity over quality), having to play this game of not including everything when you know it is needed, temporary fixes, blame games, and then clients always acting like they are the victim. It doesn’t surprise me but the overall things that happen behind the scenes just for people to get decent work and stay in business just wow…
