For those WFH- what do you miss most about the office? I will say I felt a lot closer to my coworkers before the pandemic

I don't miss anything, to be honest. Not a single thing. I don't miss my coworkers, don't miss the commute, don't miss the awkward water cooler conversation, don't miss having to wear uncomfortable clothes all day. I don't miss being away from my dogs for the majority of their lives… I'm infinitely happier now.

I honestly miss some things about working in the office. There was a camaraderie that can't be replicated in remote scenarios. And I know I learned a lot from being around people in the office, it was like a learning by osmosis situation. That's also missing when you're remote. I feel like I'm productive and there are no real problems with being remote, but at times it can feel quite isolated.

Looking to get a bit of insight on breaking into tech working as an executive assistant after working for BigLaw for 20+ years.

I've been applying to tech companies for executive assistant positions - in particular, remote work positions - and I have yet to get a nibble.

I'm extremely tech savvy and have a lot of initiative but I am afraid that these companies are put off by how long I've been working assuming that I am a middle-aged woman that is not able to go with the flow.

For these remote companies where I don’t have connections how can I transition over?

$325k TC at MBB in a non-generalist (still partner track) path. Love the intellectual variety, smart colleagues, flexibility (WFH has let me take occasional 2-3h windows during the day for personal activities) - can’t take the stress anymore. Are WFH industry roles at the $300-500k TC level really that much less stressful?

Does anyone know the average salary for a senior consultant in finance with 5 years work experience in the LA area?

3 YOE in Marketing through internships in college, followed by 2 years Financial Operations/Data Tools full-time. I got an offer for $75K at TekSystems for a Market Analyst role. I gave them a range of $70-75K, so they gave the max. But I am questioning asking for a bit more given insurance is apparently on the higher-end and I want to ensure I didn't low-ball myself.

Just to note, this is about a 25% increase compared to what I am currently making.
