I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

I am currently interviewing at TikTok for the Content Partnerships Lead role. Can anyone share some insight into the salary bands in the Sub-Saharan African market? Should I benchmark with the global rates?
Any tips and experiences interviewing in this region are also welcome - and highly appreciated! :)

I find a lot of positives. It puts me back in the world again during the day. Talking to people on calls isn't the same as in person. There is spontaneous interaction that can help your work. I love being in the city and this exposes me to that energy. The setup at my work desk is better than at home. I actually look forward to my two days in the office. You don't realize how isolating WFH all the time is until to get out of it.
I definitely see that when I get together with people about once a month I get energized and wonder why I don’t do it more.
I was 8 years wfh and it got tired and lonely. I am now hybrid and I love it. I love my commute, I enjoy getting an excuse to go downtown and enjoy my city. My favorite part has been the spontaneous brainstorming sessions and how we break through some topics from just sitting having lunch together or going on an idea walk and grab a coffee.
Thanks for finding light in a situation so many are finding unbearable - I thought it might be a crazy question but hopefully we’ll give some people hope.
It hit 101° in New York today so my home office was sweltering. Went to the office 15min away and had to put a jacket on 😂
That’s a pretty strong positive!
