I’m ex-big 4 and love it at Workiva. I feel like my work is actually appreciated here rather than just billing hours so a partner gets paid his bonus. Happy to answer any questions you may have.
I'm considering a move from FAAS to Workiva and wondering about how different that world is. I love selling work, enjoy helping clients with meaningful changes, and am eager to be in a more collaborative and innovative group. Would this space suit me better than a big 4?
What team or group would you be looking to join?
I moved to Workday from B4 and love it, can’t even imagine going back to consulting. You may not get all the experiences you mentioned compared to consulting where you’d be doing sales and delivery for example, but I’d definitely recommend it from my experience.
Do you have more specific Qs?
The day to day or objectives are what they sound like. Sales director, solution consultants are focused on selling. Product (PMs, Dev) are focused on feature development. Services (impl manager for example) focused on delivery
