For those who’ve used adoption benefits at work, what was the most helpful part and what do you wish your employer had covered but didn’t?

Anyone here have any information on where to invest your money apart from the firm's 401k match? New to investing and wanted to know where do other people invest since most of them wouldn't be investing in stocks directly.

Guidance needed :-

I have 10 YOE in fields like Cust. Service, Business development, Cust. Retention, Insurance reimbursement.

All with foreign Language related processes as I know the language. No knowledge of any tech/IT course.

My mother is very ill and to look after, I need to be at home and I want some good WFH opportunities.

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.
