I refuse to admit the insane amount of money I spend on my dog. I'm a moron for doing so. But I can't stop. He needs to be spoiled.
I therefore intentionally do not keep track.
There is no other way to live
None. I self train (went through certifications when I was a teen) and us free parks/walking trails.
At most you are considering a leash, treats, and maintenance for yourself (walking shoes, water bottle). Training and activity is very low cost and is totally up to your preference.
You could pay $150 a week for doggy daycare, or keep it to a minimum and throw a ball in the backyard.
My guilty pleasure is buying new toys for enrichment. Found a 5 foot stick with a string and feather on the end for cat enrichment, $10 and is the best purchase yet.

$60 yearly for a local park pass for hiking, trails and nature. Shiba Inu
Training and activity depends on the type of dog you have. Friend has a Boston terrier, who went through basic obedience and is chill being a lapdog with some walks during the day.
We have a blue heeler and we spend a lot of money on different levels of agility, disc etc.

Anxious rescue gets $240 in private dog training lessons. Another tiny dog that is high drive goes through about $100 in crinkle toys, tears through right above their eye and removes the crinkle or stuffing. She is terrifyingly efficient.

Zero. Two cardio sessions with the cat toy daily and he's a good boy. Cats are a breeze.
