For us majoring in accounting, have you ever struggled with the health insurance “game”? I recently got into accident and injured and the bills keep coming and with the deductible and in network all mixed up with pre tax hsa contributions and pay out of pockets etc… has everyone master this game and how you felt abt it compare to accounting?

I’ve been a licensed general lines (2-20) insurance agent for year and a half and have sold around 2M in premium, of which most of it is personal lines (homeowners, DP), and some commercial lines business. Even though I’m licensed to write my own business, the sole producer in the company is my boss. I currently make 35k + 15k in commissions (approximately). Is this a normal salary? Or how much should I be making? Appreciate your help

Anyone ever have experience negotiating a new offer to include unvested 401k match and stock grants from your current employer? I hate leaving money on the table but there are some good roles out there. I’m not fully vested in my current 401k yet and my stock grants haven’t matured yet either. This would be at a global director level.
