Took a salary job FT in March for 40% of what I was making in 2017. But thankful for it. Also able to Freelance. Thanks TrumpTurd for making America great again! Here’s to a better few years ahead, it can only be up from here. BTW 2017 salary 188k, 2020 85k - this is less than I was making in 2003.
Big slice of humble pie. Other friends not as lucky as me.
Hopeful things will come around next year.

I work in all industries. I have over 10 yrs of self employment experience. 3-4 years’ish of agency/creative experience. I’m a specialist within graphic design / creative.

Yeah, I didn’t see this as a bragging thread. Been a crap year. I too am curious if anyone’s made a halfway decent wage out of it or not.

70-80k I think? It was a mix of w2 and w9 and I was jobless for a big chunk of the year so I’m more than happy with what I made.
Oh also I only work part time
Had two contracts signed for in January get cancelled in late Feb, lost out on a LOT of money. Was pretty quiet until July and now making more than ever

2 loaves of bread.
Around 150k — it was super quiet for me from Aug-Nov, not ideal but enough to avoid mortgage defaults etc
Around $200k, with a month or two off. Bay Area.
Had 50% of the work I had in 2019...
185k, with a month off.
W2 - About $100k for 9 months of work. Mid/Sr. Level in LA.
About $140k. $37k came from a severance package that carried into the beginning of the year. Didn’t really work from mid-March til mid-August. Been hustling almost nonstop since then.
50% of what I made last year.
Nothing April through July.
Full time at my 2015 rate in Aug.

Which is far less than 2019 - $310k
