I am currently an analyst at my company and interviewing at Facebook (Meta) at the end of the month. I’m a bit nervous / looking for ways to prepare because it would be an amazing opportunity. Does anyone have any tips or different ways that I can prepare for the process? It is for a Risk Assessment Investigator role (very similar to what I do now).

I can’t leave but I’m not happy. Advice?
Are you willing to share more about how to do this successfully? This process can be a minefield, I hear, so any tips for success would be wonderful to have.
Absolutely right. Every employer has a duty of care. Get a medical certificate. If it was a result of work stress have this documented in the report. Tell HR about your situation in writing. Never tell them you can’t do your job.

God damn that’s ridiculous. You need to talk to an employment lawyer, a quick consultation and a letter won’t cost too much.
I’ve never heard of it being a minefield - sounds like fear mongering meant to disenfranchise vulnerable people. I do know that any addictive substance abuse immediately negates your claim. Although keep in mind your rights under HIPA and that therapists are required to maintain confidentiality unless there is a scenario that puts you or others at risk. (Probably not relevant for an ADA filing.) And remember: nothing terrifies a corporation more than a lawsuit. They will do anything to avoid one, which is power in your court.
Interesting. Not documented behaviors of your agency manager or your HR benefits manager or holding company benefits manager. Mine told me I have to keep getting journalists who write about insurance (not for mental health even, just for straight life and death in 24h medication) that I need to threaten the holding company with a whistle blower article in a national publication or I’m fucked. “We’ve never done medical exceptions at IPG, we are barely learning how to deal with anything beyond pregnancy.”
