Irrelevant, im working with PE funds but sure keep the hate on the Middle East…
Move to MBB in the Middle East and then plan your transfer. Should take you about 2 years.
Your experience is irrelevant outside the Middle East for potential employers. If you already work for MBB, I would push for an internal transfer to Europe but this takes many months to plan.
When you work in consulting in the Middle East, your experience is not that relevant for companies in Europe or North America. The skill and problematics are different. In a nut shell, if you stick too long in the Middle East, you can’t work elsewhere that easily (consulting or industry).

Internal transfer is best bet. Would check on minimum time required before transferring / partner approvals / standing with firm etc
