This is why candidates hate HR. Last week, the recruiter emailed me saying the position I applied for was filled, but there was a similar position available they wanted to discuss with me. We decided on a call today at 11am. Radio silence from the recruiter, not even an apology email.

Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.

I reached out to my old ADON to get some information on where we had our vaccinations from and she told me that I should come back and the administrator that I had issues with is gone.
