Congrats! You’ll do great!!
Don’t put it on a pedestal and be yourself! You deserve it and the more positive self talk you do to own it, the more you will naturally come off as qualified. Affirm! You got this
If they're interviewing you, they see your potential. In hiring a recent grad, they'd be looking for a positive attitude, willingness (excitement, even) to learn and someone who is willing to jump in and be part of a team. Don't go overboard with the enthusiasm, you're a new professional, not a puppy :). If there's more than one interviewer, address your answers to the panel - not just whoever asked the question. Make sure you do your research (look at the company website, try to understand their product or their business goals), follow some of their leaders on social media to try and get a sense of their culture and style. Good luck!
I went to the interview feeling nervous and all but I received a call for a second interview!! thank you all for your advice, they really help💕 I’m just not sure what to expect on a second interview 😅
Whooooooo!!!! You got this!!!!
Confidence! A mindset of confidence, not arrogance, and aspiring to edify and build up and lead others ! I mean… I’m coming from a leadership perspective so kind of bias lol but for sure confidence in who you are and what you know you’re capable of
Congratulations!!! Hoping something good after almost a year of searching!!!!!!!
Humble confidence.
And don’t forget to send a follow up email to your interviewer(s) thanking them for their time. It’s also a great opportunity to tell them what you liked most about your discussion and how you can be a good fit for the team. Call out specific things from the interview not just generalities. This lets them know you were well engaged. Make sure it’s individual and not a mass email and directly to them not the recruiter.
I swear #1 works for me every time. I go in calm and confident
