Any amazon recruiters here?
I have had received an offer from aws and i had a negotiation call a week ago with the recruiter.
It was a 15% increase in the total comp. I have not heard anything back. Should i be worried of Amazon rescinding the offer? Will they atleast come back with the original offer? Amazon

Google. The benefits alone will start to eat into the comp. Better 401k match, probably better health insurance policy, better maternity/paternity. Google all day.
Google. First, equity and bonus will more than make up for the salary gap. Next, Google will open more doors than KPMG. Finally, it will be much easier to go from Google to KPMG than vice versa if you want to swap later.

But let me know if you don’t take that Google one... send the recruiter my way

Numbers?
Let’s say base $150ish for G / $170ish for K
What about equity?
Then Google
I’m asking from a career trajectory standpoint - so consider numbers as a secondary factor for now
If you’re talking purely from a career trajectory standpoint, you’re actually better off at KPMG imo. Our M&A offerings are very strong. If you’re on partner track at B4, essentially the sky is the limit.
Talk to people at Google and you’ll realize that career progression moves at a glacial pace.
Are you currently at KPMG? Regardless, I’d go google.
No brainer - Google of course
