Hope you are doing well, I need valuable suggestion on few of my queries.
I had joined KPMG(KGS) on April 2022, during the interview i have been told that i would be working on Java Backend Development as my background belongs to same technology and my interview was also happened on Java/Spring/Microservices; but they put me on Low-Code / No code Platform and its totally tool based work. Yep that’s why for us, HR tells us not to reply to thank you notes and keep all comms through recruiters
Regardless, it’s nice that you did that. Today I was trying to decide between two equally qualified candidates and picked the person who followed up after the interview.
Sigh I forgot to send thank you note and now I'm on the wait list

I think it’s no sign - just very dependent on the personality of the interviewer.
Really hard to say. I’ve had it go both ways in the past. Either way they probably appreciated your thank you regardless of the end result.
Is this a good sign:
What if they respond mentioning they'll set up time to discuss next steps, even though they haven't finished interviewing all candidates?
How should you follow up?
The only way you know it’s a good sign is when they start talking to you about the next steps or the recruiter starts talking seriously about comp
