GT has always been quick with the layoffs. I'd avoid GT at all costs. Plenty of other reputable National firms
M1 not sure what you're so bitter about but GT is not trash. I'm sorry if you had a bad experience. But your experience doesn't apply to everyone or even most ppl.
I went from GT to Pwc. lol
It all depends on who you work with, what clients you are on, and what you will be doing. As a mom, I was not a fan of the unlimited PTO. My team was hugely misogynistic, and I was definitely not "one of they guys". They often remarked every time I had to run to pick up my sick kid from school. I asked to not travel, and I ended up only traveling for the first 18 months after my hire date. Kind of bs that I put up with it, looking back.
Comparatively, PwC has less in person trainings and my teams are all over the US rather than in one location.
Why GT to Pwc!?
GT did not lay anyone off during COVID. It was our typical review cycle and low performers were let go.
