It's only $4k in the first six months - less than $1k/month average. Just charge all your everyday expenses to that card and get it over with. Surely you have at least $1k/month in expenses, whether groceries, phone and streaming bills, dining and entertainment, clothes, hair/nails, etc?
Buy things from Sephora. They let you put your returns on any card you want. So buy with credit card and return the purchases on your debit card.
Can I use this for unlimited points?
Would not recommend signing up for a credit card with an annual fee if you’re struggling to hit the spend limit
You can't purchase just the gift card. Amex will flag that as manufactured spend. The rule of thumb is to spread out gift card purchased among other normal purchases
If your landlord allows you to pay rent, then that's an option. Usually, it carries heavy fees so it may only be worth it if to meet initial spend.
Another option is car/home insurance. Pay ahead and it should take up a bulk of your spend.
Avoid gcs for initial spend.
Surprised no one said Plastiq yet
How does this work? If you use plastic you’re still paying the extra rent credit card processing fee right?
Does anyone have any other ways to hit spend criteria? :)
