I had given interview with google almost 1 month back and 2 weeks later got a mail to collect some information about me like college grades, promotions in past , references in google etc. I have not heard back after that and hr is also not responding. HR is not going to give you free money for the disconnect. They will ask you to leave before the holidays.

Just give 2 weeks notice before holiday, get paid out for the PTO and take the time off

DUMB QUESTION: can you just tell your team your last day is the day before the disconnect? then submit your resignation on Monday that we get back for that same day?
If your SM is anything like mine he will alert ALL immediately and get crazy about a backfill ASAP. I would just hold off honestly. Does Deloitte sit and wonder how their news flashes will affect every single person before they communicate - Nope. Do you… because they sure as hell would if you were on the chopping block.
Agreed I’ve heard HR really changes their tune once you say you’re leaving… just quit in the new year and try to not get staff if that’s your concern.
