That’s actually a fair offer for an IC4 business role. Unfortunately as noted above our business roles are not paid well. Many leverage the move to make it into a more technical position. Personally I’d say since we are currently going through a lot of internal upheaval I’d avoid the offer for now (although benefits, brand and WLB are far better than PwC)
Not just what the company does ethically - there is a ton of regulatory scrutiny and negative press that is causing internal conflict, to an extent. It’s not a huge deal but it does impact a lot of peoples work
I had a similar offer from Google, it’s not a lowball , it’s what they offer and folks from Deloitte / pwc and more are accepting it. They don’t have reason to offer more as they are getting takers . For a 6YOE it’s actually good . I know people with 12-15 Yoe are accepting it as well . I personally declined it btw .
Google’s Brand is not the same as it was few years ago . Any company which hires 20k people per year is going to loose brand value. Work culture is very political and things move slow . Compensation wise, in my case D was comparable even after counting their RSUs. It came down to small growth in TC, supposed better WLB and free food. Growth opportunity wise I find D more promising , so I chose to stay.

That doesn't seem very high at all. Which of the FAANG's is this?

The first one :)

Facebook/meta pays peanuts to non-core business roles. You can ask for more but I don’t think it’s too much of lowball. They only pay well for tech roles (PM/SWE/DS).
What location? If it’s LCOL or MCOL then it seems ok, forget it if Menlo Park or other HCOL.

This is for the bay area. I already live in a hcol though.

So the offers really aren't the same. Especially when you look at pay per hour
What level? That looks low.

I would not leave consulting for non-technical PgM. Unless you are trying to slowly make a shift to PM

The potential opportunity to move to another FAANG for PM or supply chain roles or even internally to such roles.
Also considering PwC is a tier 3 firm while FAANG would be tier 1 , I can always go back to consulting at an even higher role potentially.
