Gotta do what’s best for your own career! It’ll look bad if you KEEP doing it. But if you like the new company and culture and stay longer than a few years, you should be fine.
Fair point, but I’ve only been passively looking at job opportunities partially to keep my interviewing skills sharp, partially to be wary of other consulting options. I feel like I’d be doing myself a disservice if I didn’t at least passively look.
Nah go grab your cash. In this economy as long as you’re staying places 1-2 years your good. If you have an in demand skillset then go to the highest bidder.
Pretty common in tech to move around. As long as the new role challenges you and helps you grow.. ✌️ out
I don’t want firms to look down at the fact that I’ve “job hopped” too much early in my career.
That’s a pretty huge bump, personally I’d take it unless you have specific reservations about the firm who made the offer.
I left my first firm out of college after 8 months.
You can always accept and negotiate the start date. But I think over a year should have no red flags
