Got invited phone screening with HR at Mckinsey for Associate position. What do they ask? Just general fit like why consulting and why Mck? Is this still a part of data point together with CV and solve game for 1R interview? If not, does HR person decide pass/reject after this?

Have cleared HCL interview. Initially they offered 23 lpa (via proposed offer letter, to be approved by L4), but i requested to reconsider it for 25 lpa. After 5 days, they sent final offer letter of 19 lpa (stating they can offer max 50% as per L4 approval).

I don't have any other offer as of now. What should I do?

Would you cancel an interview that's already scheduled if you've decided to take another job? Or go ahead and do the interview and decline if you receive an offer?

Would you rather work at McKinsey or in a Product Manager role at a company like Cisco / Indeed / Atlassian as a new MBA grad?

I'm currently in a process for senior associate at a Big4. The process began on July, yet between the first and second interview it took like 3-4 weeks. And between the 2nd and 3rd like 7 weeks. I sent an email to HR during those weeks asking for an update and didn't have an answer. Then it a 3rd one was scheduled three times (the manager didn't connect to the first 2) and next week I have the last interview with 1 partner. Is the timing normal? Or were they looking for other candidates or what?

My goal is a good work life Balance, traveling at least 1 time a Month international and a salary of about 85k.

So far I received offers from PwC India, Capgemini and Lexmark for Data Engineering.

More are in pipeline from KPMG GS, TechM, Accenture.

But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐
