Love it 😍

No different from all of the best practices advice you’ve heard i.e low cost index funds, check out the Rick Ferri four fund concept

And inflation won’t be around forever. My bet is it will go down significantly over the next 6-9 months.

Inflation will not be long term. It’s only been a year.

Uh not correct answer

Probably real estate. Real estate values should rise along with inflation. Rent them out, reinvest the profits, use the equity to buy more.

Technology related investment will alway be in demand to keep the operation cost of doing business down. Plus they don’t pay much dividend, this minimises tax and deferred future income/growth

Any books? youtubers? etc. How did you all learn about it?

Hi Fishes/Seniors,
This will be the first time I will be in tax slab.
I have few queries can anyone please help me regarding this.
In ELSS mutual the total we can save save tax is 1.5lakh. Do we need to invest yearly 1.5 lakh yearly to save tax? I am planning to have a Sip of 5000 monthly for 3 years. So total money invested in 3 years will be around 60000 * 3 = 180000.
Will that be sufficient to save tax or Do I need to have a sip of 12000 per month to save tax.

I joined @mindtree in Jan 2022. Suddenly there is a 10k deduction in salary in the month of April. The salary slip say 10k deduction as INCOME TAX. Mindtree says "You come under 20% slab according to the income tax calculations. When all the tax slabs are applied you will have to pay yearly tax around Rs. X amount. So that amount will be deducted in monthly basis." Why sudden income tax deduction? Why was that not deducted in the month of Jan Feb March ? How can i recover that 10k every month?

Feeling grateful & proud as I reached my goal ($50K by 25) 5 months early. But I can’t help feeling a bit overwhelmed. In the lifelong scheme of things, $50K doesn’t seem like much. I worked really hard and sacrificed a lot (including mental health) to get to this but it seems a little tiring knowing I still have so long to go. I recently moved out and in with my BF so my expenses are split, but nonetheless they are still expenses. Any tips on continuing this journey and keeping the drive?
