Got laid off last week. Hitting two meetings a day. Mostly optimistic, but a little doubt and fear is creeping in. Any experience, strength, wisdom?

I'm feeling a lot of anger towards my manager (now he's acting normal but there were moments where he was condescending/dismissive/mocked my and others work/arrogant/said stuff was "wrong" constantly/belittling the difficulty of tasks etc. in the past project).
Maybe it is "standard chewing out" but it bothered me a lot. So much that I find myself still getting all fired up inside thinking about it...
Idk how to let go of this :/ Thoughts?

How do you handle people’s kids showing up on video meetings? Screaming, kicking, hamming it up, (wasting time.) Everyone else is coo-ing…I’m not a kids person. Heard a technique which is to drop off the call bc you “assume the call is over” (which seems like a great way to get fired especially if it’s a way higher up’s kids - plus it feels rather passive aggressive.) Resume question I've had three positions over my career one of which lasted 3 months and that I got fired from, the job search took an additional 2 months. Is it worth it to leave the 3 month stint off my resume? It might be easier to explain getting fired then a 5-month gap I was thinking

Working for a senior who is beyond horrible. She talks to you like you’re stupid and makes it sound like you’re absolutely terrible at what you’re doing. She’s made 5 other associates cry during her 5 year career. Got someone fired and made another person quit. It’s known around the office that she can no longer have a female associate, because she talks down to females more than she does males. I came along and thought I could deal with it but she literally makes me want to not log on tomorrow.

The person I report to is so disorganized and there are no other managers in the office to direct day to day operations of our department. On day 2 I was asked to go to a job site and perform a 12 hour day without any training, safety equipment or tools. On day 3 I was asked back to site to do general labor! I’ve slowly started drinking less and less. And the less I’m drinking the more I realize just how much of my time revolved around alcohol. From going to get it, to drinking it to fighting hangovers. Now I realize I need something to fill all that time with. Especially now that I’m not spending all day saturday and sunday deathly hungover. I go for walks and run errands…but in a shock to me…there’s still a lot of time left. How did you start spending your time once you stopped drinking?

Any meetings for ad people in la? I find no one really understands how we work in normal aa meetings. They find it suspect when I’m at work till 10pm every night for 3 weeks.
