OP nobody can tell you what His plan is for you. That is between you and God. I am sorry to hear that this happened. Just trust that it is for the best and pray about it when you start feeling bad. Something better will come along.
I went through this last year at BCG- I was an experienced hire, but it was my dream job.
My best advice is the following:
1. Listen to Tim Keller’s preaching on Job
2. Remember that God’s plan for you is better than anything you could imagine; this means it could be off the beaten path. That doesn’t mean it’s bad
3. It’s ok to grieve. I would just make sure you bring that grief to God
4. Understand that you are still incredibly valuable and this setback doesn’t define you or your skills.
5. Use the unemployed time to invest in something you are passionate about in your career (start a business, go to a coding bootcamp, study for the gre, etc.)
6. Network for a new career. You’re still young, and people are more willing to help than you think

It happened because it’s part of the AMAZING plan that He has for you. I am praying for you op. Everything will be ok🙏🏽
The hard part right now is that you won’t probably know what it was all for until later on down the road. Nobody will be able to tell you why right now, but at some point in the future you’ll look back and be able to find all the good that this hardship has brought you.
Keep your eyes on the prize. God's plan for all of us is that we can participate in His Kingdom. And He will use all the things that happen to us in the meantime to further that good purpose. (Gen 50:20)
