Hi all
Few months back, I accepted @pwc india's offer but didn't join.
Now I was referred for @pwc US but as I was applying for the job, the portal shows previous application with status as offer accepted.
Will pwc consider me again?
Does anyone have any idea on this?
Has someone accepted the offer but didn't join and later joined again after some months?
Please let me know
Any inputs will be helpful
Thanks!

Don’t take it
While 15% is a big cut...I would ask myself ‘does this role get me to where I want to be?’
Uber’s business model is not good (same goes with all ride sharing apps). I’d be bearish
Run far and fast. Uber doesn't, and might never, have self sustainable cash flows. It's a fundamentally flawed business model. Unless something drastic changes, they eventually might cease to exist.
In most companies this wouldn't be a deal breaker because your tenure wouldn't outlive Uber's lifetime, but since a large portion of your comp will be equity, are you really confident in the executive team's ability to change... everything about Uber?
Would not take it for a pay cut. They’re not pre IPO any more they need to pay at market to be competitive
This bowl tells everyone to not take any offer unless it’s above your current comp and at FAANG. Ultimately only 5% of you will ever exit of that’s your standard. Will you be happier in the role (interesting, better wlb)? If so, $225k and $70k equity is way more than anyone needs $ wise and there are many more things to life than $. Most exits with better wlb will have lower comp, that’s the trade off.
Total comp is 225k cash + equity 75k.
I liked the team a lot. Really connected well with the folks.
What does the role entail? What will the firm expect you to achieve?
With stock options you've gotta be making a lot more. I think Uber is stable enough to not have to worry about core competition. The question now is can it innovate and keep being indispensable, and can you grow there with others. If you feel yes, then 15c off on base is nothing to be torn up about.
Thats a huge pay cut. Do the perks outweigh the lower pay? Uber will be around but who knows with the political climate
What is your year-1 TC number at Uber? Integrative APs make more so can you use that datapoint as leverage? People outside the Firm may not understand the distinction.
