Be very carefull while marrying, unless you get confirmation from 10 people that the family is good and girl is good, do not go for it...Indian laws are all against men.
*It's better to be single than to be fighting fake dowry cases*
Look for All Red Flags in girl.
1. Her mental health - Many girls these days are NPD Syndrome where they will not let you live with your Old Parents.
2. More than her check her parents reputation atleast from 10 people - If her mother controls the house definitely she will control the girl after marriage.
3. Tell the girl that you are loosing job, will she still marry you ? This will prove she is marrying only for money or not
4. Always Always sign a prenup agreement that no dowry is taken or given. Or take in email.
Guys, Please please marry after thinking 10 times and if possible hire detectives.

Divorce rate in india is 2% because to get divorce in india is very hard.
If you will file contested divorce it will take minimum 7-8 years in district court.

I read through your message and it seems like you've had a really bad luck in marriage and you are convinced that the law is against us.
On the counterpoint my cousin sister marriage also fell apart and they also made all kinds of claim. Dowry and what not.
Case ran for 6 years. Nothing happened and finally after mental exhaustion from her family they finally said that they don't want any money or anything they just want a divorce. This is the case for almost all the cases. Though the laws are against man but the decision making process is so slow most of the cases just end up as this.
I know there are lakhs of man suffering from this however there are crores of successful marriages as well and I don't think any of them started with asking the other family to sign a contract.
Also talking about green and red flags, there are a few green one's as well.
I asked and she said she is looking forward to living in our house. She doesn't want to live away from my parents.
They are showing no hurry for marriage. They suggested nov of 2025 which we asked them to move to march of 2025.
They are inviting us to visit their home continuously and they live in a society so I don't think that they are afraid some neighbour will say something.
