H1b was never relatively easy. Filing an lca everytime you change location and disclosing salary +$1300 bucks for each amendment and 4 month wait is not something you call easy
It was pretty easy if you can follow directions.
I thank god every day I got my GC before consulting.
My stamping took me 10 weeks and fucked my year-end rating.
Yeah and my project fucked me for that. I have friends who waited for 3 months and lost their job.
Analyst 1: holy crap. Which country if you don’t mind saying?

BA1 Lol pretty sure you, your firm or client never followed 'all' the directions.
Yes more scrutiny. Lawyers had to “strategize” on how to respond to rfe. They requested 10-12 things I do on daily basis and requested confirmation letter from ppmd and engagement letter to help with case.
@D1: I don’t think RFE was very common previously right? Did you just go through the process yourself?
I was referring to visa stamping for my approved H1B. The Administrative Processing cases are definitely more common than before. Worst is they don’t tell you why.
@A1: damn, so you had to be out of the country for 10 weeks? That’s a big deal
10 weeks??
@GT not common until now! Cant wait to get that EAD and AOS completed.
@A-1: holy shit! Does it mean they couldn’t even come back to the US anymore?
