Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express
Can anyone at Amex share my resume in their team to directly start the rounds of interview? I have tried for referrals through linkedIn and did not recieve any call from the HR.
29th Apr is my last working day in my current organization.

A BCG recruiter ghosted me after she reached out to schedule an interview. How long should I wait before following up? What is the common courtesy to give to ppl at BCG. This has happened to me multiple times over the last year. Maybe not the “ideal fit” part but meeting 6+ people for hour long calls only to be told no. Fun times!

Not too far off. 6 hours really isn't that long considering the importance of the decision.
To me it’s a sign that they take the hiring process seriously. Having great coworkers is one of the most important benefits an employer can give you.
Yeah they either take hiring seriously there or they’re trying to figure it out through you. 🤣One way to tell is if you interviewed with people you’d directly report to or just randoms. When Vimeo was just starting I was one of their first, if not the first CW to interview there. Went in to what I thought was a meet and greet with recruiter and maybe one creative, ended up interviewing with half the office. Was there all day, luckily I had some cliff bars and they gave me water. 🥵
This is the exact reason it took me over a year to land a new role. They waste your time with 5+ rounds then back to square one
Maybe they were telling the truth, which could be good for you. Not all agencies and employees are the right fit for each other. Maybe they’re super broey jerks and realized “hey, I don’t think OP would fit in here. They’re too kind and empathetic, and didn’t even vote for Trump.”
