No shit? I thought working until 2 AM is what everyone did.
Highly dependent on your LOS and team. I’m booking around 1900 chargeable without an hour eaten per year on a somewhat niche team in Federal Audit. With that said, I helped out in busy season in NYC as an A1 at a large hedge fund and the regulars were telling me it was 70 hour weeks for six months. Senior Manager actually asked me to move up there after two weeks and I just laughed in her face.
lol I leave at 5 most days at my current job
I loved my time at KPMG, I did work a lot but I learned so much and everyone was so great. There are definitely days I miss it.
KPMG 2 Fed really is the good life (for big 4) but people get spooked by the supposed exit ops.
Which practice are you joining?
You will not leave at 5 every day at kpmg
Yeah it’s complete and utter hogwash K3. You only start getting pegged at SM2 or SM3 but even then you can always pivot to some sort of FIAR consulting which gives you inroads to commercial consulting if you so choose.
