Don't understand all the criticism. I have a pretty good wlb at pwc sdc. It all depends on the project and the onshore engagement team. Coming to your question, I think you should definitely think of switching if you are at an early stage of your career, but you can stay back if you are more experienced and don't want to take a risk.
Some ray of hope! Thanks for that. Joining pwc sdc soon.. fingers crossed!
If you want to join any of the big4 then forgot about WLB. You will get brand name and good learning but no WLB. If you are happy with your current organization and they are increasing your salary then I think you should not switch. Maximum people will say after resignation do not stay in that organization but it is your personal choice. Perosonal I would not switch if I was in your place. Rest you can choice based on your choice
Thanks !
I got offer from pwc sdc. I’m worried about wlb as well.
Darr ke aage jeet hai mere dost. Wlb can come later when u have arrived, now is the time to grind my friend.

These out of the turn "do anything" favours might be your grave. Beware. Had you been so important to them, you would not have been paid peanuts earlier. Everyone becomes important after resigning, your case isn't any different from anyone else. Anyway, do what you think is best for you.
Today itself I came to know that if I am attending the meetings then I should not charge this time 🤣 I should charge the time only when I do something productive. 🤣
My manager said last week. I should do training stuff out of my office hours 😂 so forget about wlb here.
Putting down papers next week.
Yep👍
It will not be long before your current company puts you in the same situation again. Suddenly an employee becomes the MVP when they threaten to or quit. I would say if the increased compensation % is good enough to make you sail for 2-3 years then opt for the retention. As for PwC you can always politely deny stating the truth. Usually companies understand when someone gets retained and heck they might even make you a counter offer.
Think from the long term perspective and then prioritise. If you think your current company can give you better learning opportunities with WLB then stay there. Just ensure that you are not going in comfort zone while looking for WLB. If you want to explore something new and want to learn, then join PwC.
Thanks !

Hello Everyone,
I cleared interview in PWC AC and asked around 90 percent hike in HR discussion and its been around 2 weeks still the compensation approval is pending.
May i know don't they negotiate or is there any chance for direct rejection?
