Can only speak from my law school experience, so grain of salt:
Sure. Any work experience is helpful. It’s all about how you explain it in the context of your story. If you’re planning to practice in an area that’s finance heavy or requires the ability to split/value assets (e.g., white collar crime, financial law, etc) then it makes a ton of sense. If not, it may be more challenging to fit it in.
In my firm we have a lawyer with both law degree and CPA. We work in an area with heavy emphasis on taxes and focus on estate planning and taxes. He has both CPA and law degree as it allows him to handle both sides of the necessary expertise without needing an accountant on hand. If you plan on doing this I would recommend possibly combining both degrees to stress what area of law you are interested in has some overlap with your CPA degree.
