Has any one filled out a “pre offer” survey from Citi? I Completed a couple of interviews, but haven’t heard back besides this pre offer email survey. Is this indicative of an offer or is this a survey sent to all candidates?

I have an interview for a job tomorrow but noticed this morning that the posting for the job was taken down from the company’s site (as well as on LinkedIn). Has anyone experienced this before? Doesn’t taking the posting down mean they’ve found someone for the job already?

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

What is expected out of a decision analytics manager at ZS India

Having a tough time getting a Product Manager interview. I have 3.5 YOE in technology implementations for a startup (my client). First 2.5 years were spent building my clients software, most recent year has been as a project manager for them. A lot of what I’ve done in last year overlaps ProdM responsibilities but I recognize it is a change. Am I reaching too much for a PM role? I have a final interview for a company in the Bay Area. It’s an entry level role and was told it would be $26. I have spoken to other employees and agree with this pay. But other companies pay around $29 for the same role title. Should I negotiate the $29 salary although it’s an entry level role and don’t have any experience?

I have gotten a verbal offer from Facebook, but I just had my phone screen interview with the hiring manager at Amazon yesterday. I want to reach out to the recruiter at Amazon and let them know what the timeline looks like. I would much rather have the Amazon job over the Facebook one. But I’m afraid if I decline Facebook then Amazon won’t happen. I’m just completely lost.

So I’m currently looking for another role within IBM. I apply for this job online and Slack the hiring manager letting them know of my interest and that I would like to chat with them about the position. Here’s the problem: I got an automated email notification saying I’m no longer being considered for the role and they are no longer hiring for the role. The hiring manager still scheduled time on Tuesday to talk to me?! Umm, what exactly are we gonna talk about if the role doesn’t exist anymore?

Any thoughts on asking a hiring manager to speak to one of his/her employees without the manager being present to get a good feel for the culture?

As per my knowledge EPF interest is calculated month on month basis however it is credited at end of the financial year.

What if I transfer the EPF amount to other companies PF account will I be getting the whole year’s interest on the amount that is transferred at end of the financial year or else will it be on pro rata basis?

I recently graduated with a bachelors in finance, and have recently got hired (5 months ago) as a financial analyst. Realistically I do FP&A for a company.
