Newly minted consultant here looking for financial advice.

So I just moved to consulting after B school, and It's more money than I've made my entire life. After paying for rent and living expenses, I have 6000$ left over every month. My student loan payments are about 1200/month at 7% interest. I still owe another 95K on my loan. I have the option to pay more every month and reduce my overall interest paid.
Currently I put about 3000 towards my loan and 3000 towards my savings. Cont'd...

Inflation post covid—19 .. thoughts? I am really worried considering the prices from housing to basic needs in major cities are already not affordable for most middle class families.

Anyone been able to work from Dubai for a UK/US firm and benefit from no taxes? I know if you are a US citizen you pay taxes where you are globally, but if you are British, then you only pay income tax on UK income - so if you live more than half the year abroad you are classed as non-domicile resident, but wanted to hear if anyone’s done this or heard about it?

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. My partner and I bought our home back in 2020. We got a good deal, low rate. But we want to move into a more spacious SFH. However, as we all know this market is crazy. Everything we want costs $620k+ and bc of rates it makes our mortgage estimates $3500+. We are currently paying $2k. And it looks we need to sell the house simultaneously as look for a new one or our contingency isn’t as attractive. I know it’s based on personal circumstances. But what would you do? - not move, sell and buy?

Is it too late in our lives to jump into a mortgage?

So my fiancée and I are relatively late in terms of finally landing well paying jobs and being able to save money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. We’re both 36 and currently rent a 2 bedroom in NY and have a combined savings of $35,000 which she wants to use as a down payment on a condo. I kinda just wanna continue saving while renting. I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.
