Has anyone been affected by the tariffs yet? We haven’t had anything come up yet at work but there are talks swirling around it. I’m already seeing places implementing a tariff tax/fee to some items.

We haven’t felt the impact yet, but I’m bracing for it (after this 90 day pause or whatever I assume things will get crazier). I’ve seen some companies quietly sneak in those extra fees already, but it feels like we’re just waiting for the full wave to hit. It’s going to be a mess, and I’m sure we’ll all feel it sooner or later!

Yes we will!

The Aerospace industry has started feeling early turmoil. With suppliers and OEM's stopping supplies of parts due to tariff conflicts.

Oh no!

I work at a company that imports almost everything and I'm looking for another job

I see. Thanks for sharing!

A few suppliers in construction told me about the impact of tariffs. There is definitely a notion of stockpiling..

For those who have obtained the CFF certification:
I was asked to put together a working plan to obtain my CFF credential. I’m aware of the 2 certificate program (Core and Specialized) through the AICPA that will lead to the CFF. Does anyone have experience in how long it would take to complete the certificates and if there are other necessary or helpful study materials that would be useful? For background, I’m 6 months into working at this firm and have touched a variety of cases.
