Has anyone gone from salaried to hourly in this job market? Going from the relaxed, yet taken advantage of, to the highly restrictive, legally mandated work windows is a culture shock. It’s just as stressful though it’s designed to “protect” workers. Anyone transition over? Any pointers on managing the adjustment?

I applied for a lateral job in a growing group that doesn’t have associates yet. Has anyone ever worked at an agency in which the project management department was properly utilized? I traditionally was brought up in my career where PM type tasks were handled by lower level AMs. I have observed separating AM and PM tasks into two separate departments just causes communication issues and lazy account people. Account people should have a good understanding of how much effort and time goes into a project. Project Managers are missing a lot of context so blind leading blind.
