I am on H1 B single whose home office is in Manhattan. I live in the New Port area of NJ. Due to the COVID pandemic I do not think that I will have to go to office for another 4 months. Can I possibly work from a location somewhere in the fly over states for the next 4 months ? Will I have a problem with LCA s ? Has anyone had USCIS random visits at their home work location ?

36 and my body cannot handle alcohol anymore!

Mid-1970’s was the era when alcohol was finally considered harmful to the child during pregnancy. This has to explain why we have an entire boomer generation that has two late incoherent 70 year olds battling it out for the most powerful position in the developed world.

I joined a new team and have noticed something off with my Director over the last months (slurring speech, no show to calls or even full days of work). I finally asked a colleague about it today because I’m concerned about my Director. She confirmed that she’s noticed the same over the last few years, but no one ever says anything. In confidence she told me she can often smell alcohol. How can I help? I feel helpless. I’ve already lost someone to addiction and I can’t ignore this. Any advice?

Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work. Don’t want to overstay the visa either. So we applied online on eFRRO to convert his visa to X-1 so we can apply for his OCI.
