36 and my body cannot handle alcohol anymore!
Hello Everyone,
I am a fresher with over 9+ months of experience as a Data Engineer at Tata Consultancy .
I just needed some suggestions from you experienced folks.🙏
In my current project my colleagues have over 6+ years of experience and are not very supportive and scold me for unnecessary reasons, which is effecting my mental health.😔
Also I am not getting to learn anything.

Practically speaking, are all firms actually filling new LCAs for the hundreds of thousands of active H1B workers? I don’t think it makes sense from a legal standpoint either because how will they quantify a time limit on WFH? Also, assuming they do, this logic would imply a new LCA referring to the original location would have to be refilled after the pandemic is over.
Again, from a practical standpoint I don’t think this is feasible, if you ask a lawyer - they will give you the “by the book” answer which is what M1 started above.
OP - the one thing you WILL have to report is an AR11 change of address if you change your residence. That may impact your existing H1B. My advise is to consult your internal global mobility HR partner who should be thinking through a firm-wide strategy to manage all H1s. In the meantime, chup chap jo karna hai kar - but don’t make any moves “permanent”.

(1) You will have to file LCA amendment if you move
(2) In fact even if you work from home at your current LCA location you will have to file LCA and submit 2 address proofs - picture on a wall in your living room and working room. You should have already done so. If not urge you to contact your firm lawyers
Can I actually move to a new location from the NYC MSA ? Is that even allowed since my office is in NYC ?
Filing new LCA means filing a new H1 B amendment also. This might cost money. Will the firm normally be ok to spend that money when I just move to some other state for my personal reasons ?
